Good news today, for once: Revenue are scrapping their network of 1890 LoCall phone numbers, and have reintroduced geographic landline numbers for PAYE and business calls.
1850 and 1890 phone numbers are notorious for hidden charges, especially if you’re phoning from a ‘bundled minutes package’ landline or from a mobile.
The phone number for new PAYE queries is (01) 738 3636.
The new phone numbers for business and other taxes can be found here by inputting your tax number and/or county or region.
